Data Sets on the Eagle System
NREL's high-performance computing system, Eagle, provides fast, parallel access to high-value renewable energy resource data sets stored on the Lustre filesystem.
These data are stored with documentation under /datasets/ and are supported with software modules. Due to the very large size of these data resources, this is a unique resource available only at NREL.
Includes meteorological conditions and turbine power for more than 126,000 sites in the continental United States for the years 2007–2013.
Features a serially complete collection of hourly and half-hourly values of meteorological data and the three most common measurements of solar radiation: global horizontal, direct normal, and diffuse horizontal irradiance.
