System Resource Allocations

To use NREL’s high-performance computing (HPC) resources, you must have access to an allocation for your research project.

An allocation is a portion of the HPC data center resources planned for a particular research project's use. Allocated resources include compute hours and storage space on NREL HPC Systems. Allocations are principally done in response to an annual call for allocation requests, which are due mid-June each year.
