Ulrike Egerer joined NREL’s National Wind Technology Center as a postdoctoral researcher in 2022. Her current work focuses wind loads on concentrated solar power collector structures using in situ and remote sensing observations. Her expertise lies in measurements of wind and turbulence in the atmospheric boundary layer and the corresponding data analysis. Before joining NREL, Ulrike studied the Arctic atmospheric boundary layer using airborne measurements with a focus on interactions between turbulence, clouds, and radiation.
