Stefano is an experimental wind energy researcher who focuses on the planning and execution of field campaigns including cutting-edge atmospheric and turbine instrumentation. He is currently mentoring multiple remote-sensing instruments for the AWAKEN and RAAW campaign, as well as leading the data analysis of lidars and thermodynamic profilers. His main research interests include wind farm aerodynamics, interaction between the atmosphere and wind plants and micro-meteorology.
