Ron Schoon is responsible for lab-wide development of partnerships between NREL and industry. He currently leads strategy development and industry engagement for these efforts in the manufacturing and chemicals/fuels sectors. Ron joined NREL in 2010 after 23 years in the transportation industry working on heavy truck, automotive, and commercial aircraft product development, where he held executive management and senior engineering positions at Navistar, General Motors, and Boeing.
