Roger is a researcher at NREL working primarily in offshore wind energy systems. Roger’s expertise is in numerical modeling, data analysis, and signal processing. At NREL, he combines his knowledge in aerodynamics, structural dynamics, and hydrodynamics to model wind turbine systems. Roger is involved in different projects related to verification and validation of offshore wind modeling tools. Prior to joining NREL, Roger worked for Alstom Wind and General Electric in Spain for six years and Envision Energy in China for three years designing land-based and offshore wind turbines.
