Rawad is an architect and building scientist, with a research focus in buildings energy simulation, data analytics, and parametric modeling and visualization to inform design and behavioral decisions. Rawad believes in the power of big data and automation to connect all our engineering systems and optimize all the energy-related interactions both at a building and urban scale. Some of his recent work includes developing methodologies for profiling occupancy patterns to calibrate Urban Energy Models, as well as developing workflows for spatiotemporal visualization and analysis of measured/simulated data.
