With over 39 years of Information Technology experience, Mike joined NREL in January 2018 as the HPC Storage Administrator, responsible for the Eagle Lustre parallel file system (16 PB useable, 12 PB used), NREL’s Mass Storage System (13.5 PB useable, 5.6 PB used), Qumulo Networked-attached storage (800 TB useable, 500 TB Used), Netvault Backup system (1.46 PB used), and NREL’s Globus file transfer systems.​
