Lori Hayes is the information systems security officer in the Cybersecurity Science and Simulation Center and has over 20 years of combined experience in the secure design and implementation of industrial controls systems, including critical infrastructure sectors such as energy, aerospace, healthcare, water and wastewater, federal systems, and transportation. Hayes has worked with organizations such as North American Electric Reliability Corporation, the Industrial Control Systems Cyber Emergency Response Team, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and the U.S. Department of Defense to understand and appropriately apply government and commercial security control frameworks.
