Khanh Nguyen Cu joined NREL’s Commercial Buildings Research Group in 2019 as a research engineer after earning his master’s degree at Texas A&M University. His research focuses on data analytics for energy systems management in district utility plant applications.
Prior to joining NREL, Khanh worked as a project engineer, where he specialized in energy modeling and HVAC systems for commercial buildings. He also taught energy modeling and integrated building design for green and high-performance buildings using OpenStudio.
