Daniel Mulas Hernando

Daniel is an offshore wind techno-economic analyst. He advises government agencies and the private sector on cost, market, and valuation trends of the emerging U.S. offshore wind industry. Prior to joining NREL, Mulas Hernando conducted the economic assessment of a new proposed 10-MW wind turbine design for an ARPA-E $3 million grant-awarded project at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He has 4+ years of experience evaluating the technical and economic feasibility of offshore wind projects and technologies.
