ChristiAnn Vaughn is a Project Manager for the National Wind Technology Center at the U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory. She provides project management and planning support to wind energy control systems research staff. Her responsibilities include proactively driving progress towards project milestones and deliverables, communication of results to key stakeholders, supporting the development of future research proposals and plans, tracking progress and status of open-source software.

Prior to joining NREL, ChristiAnn brings project planning experience in oilfield and environmental services, starting with her role in the Soil and Groundwater Closure Project at the Department of Energy’s Savannah River Site.  During her five-year tenure at Schlumberger, she served as Geophysicist and Project Leader for complex, deep-water Gulf of Mexico seismic reprocessing projects. In addition to her industry expertise, she has spent several years as an undergraduate and graduate research assistant at the University of South Carolina and University of Southern California.
