Currently, he is working at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) as a Senior Cybersecurity Researcher, focusing on protecting renewable energy systems against cyber threats. Charles has a proven track record of leading and managing cybersecurity research projects, conducting risk assessments, and developing strategies to mitigate vulnerabilities in renewable energy systems. He has also worked in leadership roles at GE Renewable Energy and Baker Hughes, where he played a crucial role in driving the adoption of cybersecurity processes and assisting product teams in incorporating security into their design and development.
