Aileen joined NREL in 2018 and is a project controller for the Buildings and Thermal Sciences Center supporting the Residential Buildings research team. Aileen has experience in solar energy, project management, culture change initiatives, and nonprofit management. Prior to joining NREL, Aileen worked with Tesla as a field energy consultant cultivating and managing revolving rooftop photovoltaic projects. Aileen also has operated in the realm of culture change working as the membership and operations manager for the Women in Engineering ProActive Network. In addition, Aileen served as an AmeriCorps VISTA with The Denver Foundation.
