Kestrel Planned Outage and Phase II GPU Integration

Kestrel Users,

The Kestrel system will soon undergo a scheduled outage for maintenance and integration of the Phase II GPUs. A tentative outage date has been set for Monday, January 29th at 7:00 AM.  During this outage, Kestrel and all related support systems including login, filesystems and compute nodes will be offline.

This is a longer outage as the Kestrel system will undergo a number of software updates. Additionally the Kestrel Phase II - GPU nodes will be integrated into the system. GPU nodes will then undergo functionality testing, acceptance testing and will be made ready for production use later in FY24.

This outage is scheduled to last through Friday, February 9th.
