2024 Silicon Workshop Lodging and Transportation

Lodging

The Beaver Run Resort is located slope-side at the base of Peak 9 of Breckenridge Ski Resort. It has on-site restaurants, bars, workout facility, pools, hot tubs, spa, and arcade. Downtown Breckenridge is just a stroll down the street. The resort features a blend of comfortable hotel rooms and spacious mountain suites—including fireplaces and kitchen facilities. Complimentary WiFi is included in all guest rooms and meeting space. Parking is $12/night.

We can only guarantee rooms will remain available for booking before June 25, 2024. After that date, our room block is released, and your booking will depend on general space availability.

Transportation

Location

From mining to resort town, Breckenridge, Colorado, is located less than 2 hours west of Denver International Airport in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The historic town of Breckenridge boasts great shopping, art, historical sites, and other activities. Founded in 1859 when prospectors discovered gold, Breckenridge has the perfect balance of history and modern riches that come in the form of casual mountain charm. From a small mountain community captivated by the prospects of gold to a world-renowned Colorado ski resort and vacation destination, the establishment of Breckenridge through the mining years provided many interconnected trails in the surrounding mountains.

Breckenridge sits at an elevation of 9,600 feet (2,926 meters), with the summit at 13,000 feet (3,962 meters). During August, daytime temperatures average 68°F (20°C), and night-time lows average 53°F (12°C).

Shuttles From and To Denver International Airport

Discounted ground transportation from Denver International Airport (DIA) to/from Beaver Run Resort is available to reserve through the Epic Mountain Express reservation form or by calling 970-754-7433 using the group code: NREL2024. Reservations should be made at least 72 hours prior to travel date to ensure availability. The group code will need to be referenced when making reservations to secure the discounted rate offered. If using the reservation form for a shuttle from DIA, please complete as shown:

In the My Travel Region field, select Keystone/Breckenridge/Copper; In the From field, select Denver International Airport; in the To field, select Beaver Run.

The Epic Mountain registration site will provide the recommended pick-up time for your shared shuttle based on your flight times. Private/direct shuttles are available through the site for an additional fee. Please allow 4 hours before your flight departure time for travel to the airport and the security process.
