KiteFAST is a simulator for airborne wind energy systems based on NREL's OpenFAST whole turbine simulator. KiteFAST is a multi-physics engineering tool for modeling the coupled aero-servo-elastic dynamics of airborne wind energy systems, i.e., a wind-energy kite.
