Meyer Seligman — Director, Government Relations
Meyer Seligman leads NREL's Government Relations office, serving as the laboratory's senior representative and chief liaison to federal and state government officials and other external partners in Washington, D.C.

In this role, she also serves as a senior adviser to the laboratory director. Before joining NREL in 2021, Seligman spent more than 15 years in the U.S. Congress, including 7 years as the majority professional staff member in the U.S. Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development. There, she was responsible for congressional oversight and funding for the U.S. Department of Energy's nondefense portfolio and independent agencies.
Prior to her work in the Senate, Seligman served as legislative director to U.S. Rep. Alan Nunnelee and senior legislative assistant to U.S. Rep. Rodney Alexander.
