Visitor Safety and Security Protocols

NLR visitors must work with a laboratory host to preregister—including providing REAL ID-compliant identification and proof of lawful status in the United States—before being checked in and allowed site entry.

Required Documents

In addition to providing the documents below, non-U.S. citizens (aka, foreign nationals) must check with their host prior to their visit to ensure a Foreign National Data Card has been signed and approved.

Note that NLR can only accept physical documents; photocopies and digital replicas are invalid forms of identification.
