HPC Operations strongly recommends against setting world writeable (chmod o+rwx or 777) permissions on either your /home or /scratch directories. Doing so opens up security risks with your NREL HPC account. If you need a collaboration space to work with a different project we welcome you to submit a ticket to the HPC help desk requesting space in /shared-projects.
