The Fuel Cell Technologies Office will present a live webinar entitled "Overview of Station Analysis Tools Developed in Support of H2USA" on Tuesday, May 12, from 10 to 11 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time. This webinar will provide a basic introduction to two new analysis tools, the Hydrogen Refueling Station Analysis Model (HRSAM) and the Hydrogen Financial Analysis Scenario Tool (H2FAST). These tools were developed by Argonne National Laboratory and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, respectively, to address key technical and financial barriers to hydrogen fueling infrastructure deployment. HRSAM will help to assess the impact of station design on the economics and incorporates a station's capital and operating cost based on key design variables such as station capacity and mode of hydrogen delivery. To complement HRSAM, H2FAST provides in-depth financial analysis including cash flow and return on investments for hydrogen fueling stations based on key financial inputs such as station capital cost, operating cost, and financing mechanisms.
