About the Workshop

The Improving the Interconnection Process workshop, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy Grid Modernization Laboratory Consortium, is one in a series of three interconnection cohort workshops. This workshop addresses some approaches to establish or improve common process-related elements of interconnection. Expert speakers will address three topics: strategies for reducing timelines, strategies for improving technical screens, and strategies for improving prospecting tools. Included in this 3.5-hour workshop is time for questions and answers as well as interactive polls for audience participation.
