Patrick Brown is a member of the Transmission Group in the Grid Planning and Analysis Center. His research focuses on improving the representation of renewable energy, transmission, and energy storage in long-term power system planning models to support rapid decarbonization. Patrick contributes to the development of the Regional Energy Deployment System (ReEDS) capacity-expansion model and has experience in geospatial analysis, linear programming, and data visualization.
