Bhavesh Rathod is a Research Engineer with the Modeling and Analysis group in the Accelerated Deployment and Decision Support Center.  Bhavesh completed his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering where he concentrated on embedded systems programming and interned at a vertical flight take-off and landing focused non-profit. Upon graduation, he worked in IT consulting for four years where he worked in various types of teams on a variety of projects in an Agile manner and learned the essential skill of project management. In 2020, Bhavesh started pursuing M.Sc. in Environment and Sustainability with a focus on renewable energy modeling and analysis. During this time, he had the opportunity to present his Capstone project work at the Conference of Parties (COP) 26 in Glasgow, Scotland. Bhavesh joined NREL as an intern in January 2022 during the last semester of graduate school and moved into his current full-time role in Summer of 2022. In his free time, Bhavesh enjoys watching cricket, playing recreational sports, catching up on TV shows and cooking.
