Advanced Energy and National Security Week
Join NREL and its national security partners for Advanced Energy and National Security week, a 4-day event bringing together energy professionals, government agencies, and national security leaders.
This event—which offers a unique opportunity for participants to connect directly with NREL researchers and gain insights that will help drive their organizations' missions and energy goals—will be broken into two parts: the Advanced Energy 101 workshop and the ninth annual Advanced Energy and National Security Conference.
- Advanced Energy 101 will explore the fundamentals of the advanced energy landscape, with sessions covering key scientific principles, an electric grid overview, and electrical engineering concepts.
- The Advanced Energy and National Security Conference will convene government and technical leaders to share insights that strengthen policy and resource decisions. Attendees will hear from NREL researchers on cutting-edge energy innovations and take part in discussions at the intersection of energy systems, national security, diplomacy, and economic development.

Note: NREL will not provide shuttle service between hotels and campus. Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from meeting locations.
Meals and Refreshments
Light refreshments will be available during meetings, and boxed lunches are available for $20 per meal each day of the conference. Attendees are encouraged to choose the event's prepurchase option, as we cannot accommodate attendees going to the NREL cafeteria or off-site for lunch.
