Tim joined the NREL Commercial Buildings Research Group in 2019. His focus is on managing the continuous integration and deployment process in support of the Commercial Buildings energy software suites.

Prior to working at NREL, Tim worked as a systems engineer at the University of Colorado, and as a data manager and developer at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) on a research meteorological team. While working at NOAA, he was part of climate research initiatives to study extreme precipitation events and helped develop decision-support tools to help weather forecasters and emergency management decision makers better protect property and lives.

Tim is currently working on his master’s degree in Computer Science at University of Colorado with a focus on distributed computing and cybersecurity.
