Jordan Henry joined NREL's Energy Security and Resilience (ESR) Center to serve as chief cybersecurity engineer. In this role, he works with the ESR Center's cyber teams and NREL's Cybersecurity Program Office to help develop and articulate research strategy, mature the lab's cybersecurity portfolio, ensure technical rigor, and strengthen linkages with energy security and resilience partners throughout the lab and external to NREL. Henry brings expertise in operational technology (OT) and industrial control system cybersecurity, modeling and simulation, and threat analysis.

Henry joined NREL after 11 years with Sandia National Laboratories, where he most recently managed Sandia's Critical Infrastructure Systems organization, conducting R&D in OT cyber operational defense, threat assessment, test and evaluation, and mitigation technologies.

Henry's academic background focused on power systems and power electronics, and he holds a B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
