Hanna is a Project Controller with the Community Energy Transitions group in the Accelerated Deployment and Decision Support Center. Hanna is a Colorado native with roots in Kentucky. She has an M.S. in Agriculture and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Tennessee where she researched potential switchgrass production for biofuels on existing Middle Tennessee cow-calf farms. She also has a B.A. in Geography from Eastern Kentucky University where she worked on projects to enhance mine reclamation efforts by including beekeeping on reclamation sites in Eastern Kentucky. Most recently, she’s been administering the procurement card program and JAGGAER e-procurement program for Eastern Kentucky University. She has extensive experience providing financial and procurement support for public universities and she is very excited about putting her education and experience to use at NREL.
