Emily Harrell provides administrative support to the Data, Analysis, and Visualization group in the Computational Science Center. Her current support work involves building and upkeep of financial dashboards, meeting and conference support, project administrative support, clerical group member assistance, template creation, and employee positional changes among other tasks. Emily receives and manages reservations for the B308 Insight Center in ESIF. She also serves as NREL’s proposal coordinator for the submission of Advanced Scientific Computing Research (ASCR) proposals.
She joined NREL in 2019 after previously working in administrative support and project coordination roles in the heavy civil construction industry in Tennessee and Colorado. She has experience in compliance reporting, management and partner support, estimating coordination and submission, calendar management, file management, accounts receivable/payable, and other various administrative tasks.
In her spare time, she is pursuing a master's degree in accounting at Regis University.
