Davi Marcelo Febba
Postdoctoral Researcher-Materials Science
Davi Marcelo Fébba joined NREL in 2022 as a postdoctoral researcher in the Materials Discovery group. His research at NREL is focused on autonomous experimentation at the intercept of materials research and data science, and involves automation of thin-film physical vapor deposition equipment and its integration with machine learning algorithms, with the goal to demonstrate autonomous experimentation controlled by artificial intelligence. He also supports existing research data infrastructure for high-throughput experimental materials science, developing new data tools for harvesting, processing, and visualizing materials data.
