Alexandra is a project leader in the Integrated Decision Support group. She provides clean energy technical support to policymakers, regulators, and utilities around the world. Alexandra's expertise lies in strategic planning and analysis to support distributed photovoltaic (PV) adoption and grid modernization. She currently leads the USAID-NREL Partnership Portfolio and the Partnership's Distributed PV Program. Prior to joining NREL, she worked for a local planning department in Indiana on alternative transportation initiatives and at the Indiana University's Office of Sustainability on various sustainability efforts.

Research Interests

Clean energy policies and regulations, with a focus on distributed energy resources

Climate change impacts on natural resources (including energy systems and energy-water systems) and climate adaptation

Individual and institutional decision making around energy issues
