Sam has over ten years of experience in the clean energy industry working primarily on renewable energy and microgrid projects. He is currently leading work to support the Power Africa Beyond the Grid Program and has worked on numerous other international projects such off grid feasibility studies in Indonesia, renewable energy development in Haiti, and island energy planning in Brazil. He is also currently helping Marine Corps installation Miramar to build the most advanced installation scale microgrid in the DoD and recently helped the installation commission and test a 100% renewable building level microgrid.
