Rob Hardison performs project management and research as a member of the Research and Sustainability Group in the fields of energy resilience and international renewable energy market development. In this role he supports resilience planning at U.S. federal facilities and performs technical research and policy development with the goal of increasing commercial solar procurement in various developing countries. Prior to joining NREL, he worked on a range of renewable energy policy design and project implementation efforts in Indonesia as an independent consultant; he has also led sustainability projects for federal agencies at a consulting firm in Washington, DC, and performed environmental compliance surveys as an officer in the US Army.
