Kevin Walkowicz manages the advanced vehicles and charging infrastructure group in NREL's Center for Integrated Mobility Sciences. He spearheads efforts to develop and implement innovative research to reduce energy consumption and increase the use of domestic renewable resources in the transportation industry. His conducts laboratory and in-use research; characterizes data; and develops analysis, simulation, and visualization tools with a focus on improving the energy efficiency of advanced medium- and heavy-duty vehicles and related infrastructure technologies.
