Jesse currently serves as a technical assistance lead for NREL, evaluating emerging energy efficiency technologies and managing the commercial building energy assessment trainings that NREL provides. Jesse currently manages the support NREL provides for the GSA Green Proving Ground and Environmental Security Technologies Certification Program (ESTCP). The Green Proving Ground program utilizes GSA’s real estate portfolio to test and evaluate innovative and underutilized sustainable building technologies and practices. NREL’s role is to design and install research grade data acquisition systems and monitor the performance of the technologies over a six month to one year period. The monitored performance data is used to characterize the effectiveness of the technologies in different climate zones and facility types.
On-site data acquisition system installation
Developing M&V plans for research grade demonstration projects
Facility energy modeling and data analysis
Automated fault detection and diagnostics for commercial buildings
Commercial building energy audits and photovoltaic system design and analysis.
