Jacob Lawrence-Simon

Originally from the east coast, Jacob conducted his graduate research at the University of Colorado on network controls and design for systems of autonomous vehicles. After graduating, Jacob worked as a software contractor for the U.S. Department of Defense, which led to his current work at NREL. Jacob is an engineering contractor with NREL's Complex Systems Simulation and Optimization group at the laboratory's Computational Sciences Center. His work includes improving and implementing NREL's existing battery simulator.
