Greg works on community resilience and disaster recovery, with a particular interest in valuation, metrics, financing, and urban innovation. He joins us from the City of Boulder where he served as the city’s first Chief Resilience Officer as part of the Rockefeller Foundation’s 100 Resilient Cities program. He has a background in urban planning, climate adaptation, sustainable development in Southeast Asia and the Pacific, and national science policy from previous work at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), the University of Colorado, and the White House. He has a bachelor’s degree in Geography from Vassar College and a Master’s in Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia and has a shockingly spry 13 ½ year old black Lab named Izzy.
