Ashwin Ramdas is part of the Distributed Systems and Storage group and works mainly with the Solar Energy Technologies Office (SETO) and Distributed Generation (dGen) team.

Research Interests

Ashwin studies the effects of policy, technology improvements, and price on the adoption of distributed energy systems. Ashwin also creates models to project solar photovoltaic (PV) system costs and conducts techno-economic analysis on the PV supply chain. Ashwin is interested in using computer programming to improve techno-economic models and to visualize data for reports.

Education

B.S., Mechanical Engineering Honors, University of Texas at Austin
