Clean Cities YouTube Channel Offers Videos on Alternative Fuels and Advanced Vehicles
December 28, 2012
The NREL-developed Clean Cities YouTube channel offers informative videos that can help vehicle fleet managers and transportation decision makers reduce petroleum use by gleaning insight from a variety of alternative transportation topics.
The Clean Cities YouTube channel features more than 175 videos about topics such as electric vehicle charging equipment, biodiesel production, propane-powered school buses, and landfills that capture natural gas to fuel refuse trucks. Local Clean Cities coalitions produced many of the videos to share tips and lessons learned from successful transportation projects. Many other videos were produced by Maryland Public Television and originally appeared on MotorWeek, television's longest-running automotive series.
The Clean Cities YouTube channel makes it easy to share videos about the deployment of alternative fuels and advanced vehicles. Viewers can embed Clean Cities videos on their own YouTube channels, websites, blogs, or social media outlets.
NREL developed the channel for the U.S. Department of Energy's Clean Cities program.
