Construction Begins on Nevada's First Wind Farm

Construction is underway on Nevada's first utility-scale wind energy development. The 150-MW wind farm (66, 2.3-MW turbines) in Spring Valley is expected to produce enough electricity to power approximately 45,000 Nevada homes annually.
