NREL Visitors Center Closing Temporarily for Remodeling

Golden, Colo., Sept. 6, 2000 - The Visitors Center at the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) will be closed Friday, Sept. 8 through Friday, Sept. 22 for the installation of new floor tile and carpet.

Visitors Center staff expects to re-open the building for normal operation on Monday, Sept. 25.

Contact the Visitors Center volunteer receptionist at 303-384-6565 to arrange for group programs at the Visitors Center or to make reservations for public tours of the Laboratory, which are held from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. on the first and third Thursdays of each month.
