Eagle Q3 System Time

Eagle will be undergoing its quarterly system maintenance time beginning on Monday, April 3rd, 2023. The system will be unavailable for use while maintenance and repair work is being completed. This includes all login and DAV nodes, Lustre and other filesystems, Globus, MSS, Europa (Jupyterhub), and all related support systems for Eagle.

This maintenance window is scheduled through Thursday, April 6th, 2023.

During this outage, planned work includes maintenance of the water-cooling systems and replacing backup batteries for the Lustre storage system. The /datasets and /shared-projects directories are also planned to move off of Lustre and on to the new Vast storage system. Routine patching and software updates will also occur.
