Planned Emergency Outage: May 23rd, 2023

NREL HPC Users,

NREL's HPC systems will be undergoing emergency maintenance to the liquid cooling systems on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023 beginning at 6:30am.

This outage involves a power-off event for Eagle, Swift, and Vermilion. These systems and all related sub-systems will be unavailable during the outage, including login nodes, Lustre, VAST, and /home storage, Globus transfer nodes, Jupyterhub(Europa) and any other HPC-associated systems.

This outage is anticipated to last through the remainder of the week of May 23rd, with an estimated return to service date of Friday, May 26th. This date may change as more information about the scope of work becomes available, and we will bring the system back online as soon as we are able.
