NREL Advances Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator Projects
NREL has provided technical support and validation testing at the ESIF to help advance Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator (IN2) projects.
The IN2 program helps speed the path to market for early-stage, clean-technology entrepreneurs. Companies selected for participation in the program not only receive NREL’s assistance, but also $250,000 in non-dilutive funding from Wells Fargo. At the ESIF, NREL is testing Go Electric’s customer-side-of-the meter microgrid solution—LYNC DR®. The system enables up to a 50% reduction in typical building energy costs.
With NREL, Liquid Cooling Systems is demonstrating and characterizing the performance of liquid-submerged technology for cooling computers and servers.
NREL is validating the accuracy and usability of Whisker Labs’ peel-and-stick energy metering technology, which could reduce energy metering costs by 90%.
