NREL, American Vanadium Demonstrate First-of-Its-Kind Battery Management System

NREL researchers are collaborating with American Vanadium, an integrated energy storage company, to evaluate and demonstrate the first North American CellCube battery management system.

CellCubes can store megawatts of energy, providing an uninterrupted supply of power from solar and wind power stations, no matter the outdoor conditions. Work at the Energy Systems Integration Facility will help reduce technology costs and accelerate progress toward the CellCube's market implementation in North America.
