Energy Systems High-Pressure Test Laboratory

In the Energy Systems Integration Facility's High-Pressure Test Laboratory, researchers can safely test high-pressure hydrogen components.

The High-Pressure Test Laboratory offers the following capabilities:

  • Strength of materials and hydrogen compatibility
  • Safety demonstration
  • Model validation
  • Life-cycle reliability testing.

Concrete walls capable of sustaining an overpressure condition and able to act as secondary containment in the case of a component failure during test, remote data and remote cameras for test observation
