By Nancy Kellogg, Program Associate in the Buildings Program at the Southwest Energy Efficiency Project (SWEEP).

With Colorado in the midst of a rapid growth phase, there is an opportunity to build the homes of the future today. This benefits homeowners and contributes to the sustainability of the region both environmentally and economically.

During this discussion you will learn how to purchase a new Zero Net Energy (ZNE) home or retrofit your existing home to ZNE. Kellogg specializes in encouraging diverse stakeholders towards ZNE, DOE’s Zero Energy Ready Home and Home Performance with ENERGY STAR construction, through outreach, research, and education.
