Security Procedure for NREL's Washington, D.C. Office

NREL and government employees can access the building by displaying their NREL or government badge. Building security will accept company-issued badges for tenants in the building and all government-issued ID badges.

Non-government visitors email your name with date of arrival to Wanda Addison.  Building security will be notified that you are expected; otherwise you will be delayed while security calls to authorize your visit. Non-government visitors can also be escorted by an NREL or an employee with a government badge. Non-government visitors must show a photo ID.

Foreign national visitors must fill out paperwork in advance and receive approval from NREL's Security Office before visiting. Please contact Wanda Addison by e-mail or at 202-488-2202 for additional information.

Everyone who enters the building will have their personal items and food x-rayed.
