Fuel Testing
The engine and vehicle testing facilities are complemented by NREL's Fuel Chemistry Lab, which is dedicated to the fundamental characterization of fuels. The Fuel Chemistry Laboratory houses an Ignition Quality Tester (IQT™), a gas chromatograph, and a high performance liquid chromatograph.
