Emissions Database for Biodiesel Used in Heavy-Duty Engines
The Emissions Database for Biodiesel Used in Heavy-Duty Engines (Excel 2.8 MB) summarizes testing data on the effect of using biodiesel and biodiesel-diesel blends in on-road heavy-duty vehicles and engines that are certified as such by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The database includes testing that is representative of the effect of biodiesel (from various sources and at various concentrations) on on-road emissions testing.
This version of the database was developed by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and is based on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Biodiesel Emissions Database, which was published in 2001. This version features nearly 10 years' worth of new studies, a redesigned structure, and some corrections to the original data.
